ABOUT

Luca Studio is a design practice devoted to creating architecture with meaning and purpose, inspired by our clients, the site, culture, and environment – whether it’s a dream home for a growing family or a hospitality retreat that nurses the senses and emotions.

Luca Studio was founded in 2021, and it focuses on single-family residential, commercial and hospitality projects.   We thrive on collaborating with creative people and visionary clients who inspire us to push boundaries.

Our philosophy – Whether a private home or a place of retreat, each project is an opportunity to balance beauty with function, innovation with restraint, and vision with context.  We approach every challenge with curiosity and care, collobarting closely with clients to distill their needs into lasting, meaningful design.

Our goal is to create spaces that feel inevitable.

Luca Studio is growing fast, and we are currently working on projects in California, Hawaii, Texas and Maine.  Looking forward to building something beautiful together.

William Reid
Project Manager

William found inspiration for the built environment growing up around the environmentally and culturally contextual homes of New Mexico.  An extensive history that blends European sensibilities with local trades and materials. This spirit was given grounding in an education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where technical studies and problem-solving methods were honed.

These experiences have led to over a decade of work in a variety of project typologies ranging from Single Family, Multi-Family and Commercial. An openness drawn from his past travel and life experiences allows William to address each project with deep consideration for the local vernacular and technical needs.  This has provided the basis to find success working in locations as varied as; Kauai, Tahoe, Bay Area, Dallas, and many more.
